Join our Parish: If you are interested in joining our parish family, please call the parish office at 815-883-8233 and we will send you a registration form.

 

Any child, grades 3rd through 8th, who is interested in serving at Mass must attend practices with Fr. Blake and Deacon Timmerman a minimum of 3 times. Please contact the parish office for more information.

 

Homebound: If there is a parishioner who is sick or home-bound who would like a priest or deacon to visit them, please call the rectory to arrange this. Communion is taken to the nursing homes and parishioners' homes on the first Saturday of each month.

 

Sacrament of Holy Matrimony:  The bride and groom should contact the parish office at least 6 months in advance to schedule the wedding and to begin the preparation program. The marriage preparation program consists of meeting with the parish priest a minimum of 4 times and the completion of two Diocesan wedding prep programs.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR GODPARENTS:

Godparents must be practicing Catholics who regularly attend Mass, who are confirmed and at least 16 years of age. Married couples chosen as Godparents must have been married in the Catholic Church. 

 

First Holy Communion: First Holy Communion for 2nd grade students will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2019. For more information, please contact the parish office or Mrs. Lynn Quick, Director of Religious Education, at lquick@hfsschool.com.

 

Confirmation: The Sacrament of Confirmation is held every other year for all 7th and 8th grade students. Please contact the parish office or Mrs. Lynn Quick at lquick@hfsschool.com for more details. Registration and sponsor forms for this Sacrament can be found on the CCD page of this website.
